If you don't know who Ms. Sasha Allen is, you'll soon find out. You might remember this New Yorker from the show "Born to Diva" at the age of 18, which she didn't win but really should have. I recently watched some videos of her on youtube.com and she is amazing. An accomplished pianists with a great and mature voice at only 22 (this year), she is turning heads eveywhere. She had a small role in "Camp" which i thought was a stupid movie but I watched it because she was in it an she did a great job. She also had a role in "Stick it in Detroit. In 2004 she also did an off-broadway play. If you know nothing about her check her out

Kathleen(20), a hairstylist from Brooklyn, NY, was the first girl eliminated during the eighth cycle premiere of The CW's hit reality series "Next Top Model," reducing the pool from 13 girls to 12.
After the field was narrowed down to 13 finalists, the girls were sent to their first photo shoot with Nigel Barker as their photographer. Jay Manuel assigned each of them a different political view, and while several of the girls struggled with their shoots, Kathleen had an especially difficult time as she attempted to portray "anti-fur." Though Jay and Nigel offered numerous suggestions, they felt that Kathleen was falling short. "I think Kathleen was confused by the whole anti-fur concept. She didn't embrace that it was a political view," Nigel said.
The next day, the girls were sent to a runway challenge and charity fashion show for Goodwill Southern California, where they were met by J. Alexander. After choosing their own outfits, they walked the runway to auction off their clothes to the highest bid. Kathleen felt very comfortable during the whole challenge. "I rock at thrift shops. I felt like I rocked on that runway. The crowd was loving me," said Kathleen. "She was straight up Brooklyn hoochie with a twist. The twist is that she has a great personality," J. said. At the end of the runway challenge,
Jael received the highest bid, and won a style make-over with fashion stylist Phillip Bloch.
During the judging, Tyra expressed her overall disappointment with the results of the shoot. The judges were concerned the most with Kathleen and were not sure she would be able to handle the intensity of the modeling world. "The girl with a bright spirit and hair to match that just lost the map," Tyra said to Kathleen, before eliminating her from the race to become "America's Next Top Model."

It has been revealed. The first 4 people (2 guys, 2 gals) have been kicked off of American Idol season 6. They are as follow......
Paul Kim (25, Saratoga, CA)
I thought he had a good voice but he blew it the first night. He didn't handle the song very well. The first asain singer every to make it on Idol is sent home.
Amy Krebs (22, Federal Way, WA)
She has an amazing voice. I love it . It's sad to see her go but she wasn't a favorite of mines. She's still young, and if she puts her mind to it she can become the singer she wants to be. I would definitly buy her cd.
Rudy Cardenas (28, North Hollywood, CA)

For those interested in this great show, ANTM has returned finally. On February 28th 2007 @ 8:00pm EST the first episode will air. Unlike other seasons, this season won't have just one plus size model but two. That's right two. I think this is because of all the skinny skinny models that are starving themselves in the modeling industry which is just sad sad sad!!!!. People, be who you are. I can't wait for the new season to start. It's been a while. All of my shows are back and i'm so happy.

Today (Feb. 21st) is the first real elimination. With the guys singing on Tuesday (didn't do to good from what i heard) and the girls singing on Wednesday (way better then the guys), people are excited to see if their favorite singer gets booted back home. I'm not to excited till they get to the real stage in front of thousands singing their hearts out to become a national singer. Patience patience!!!! I will post weekly the results of A.I. to keep y'all up to date. I just hope this season is better then last season. Taylor Hicks can sing but he isn't main stream. The best A.I. winner in my eyes is and forever will be Ms Independent herself, Kelly Clarkson.

Ciara - Like a Boy (Ipod Ready)
Ciara's latest video "Like a Boy" premiered yesterday (Jan 21st/07) and I knew the video was going to be hot. She stepped her game up with this second single off her sophomore album "Evolution" in stores now. I'm lovin the song and the video. Although I thought the video was going to be in full color it still looks great in B&W. It gives it a raw image. The dancing in this video is incredible. Along side playing her man is sexy Reggie Bush (New Orleans Saints: NFL). A very creative video. The video really did the song justice. They go hand in hand. This song and video is far better than "Promise" which everyone thought it couldn't be measured to. Well, "Like a Boy" passed it with flying colors.

Tamia - Can't Get Enough
There are very few Canadian artist that I like and who make it in the American music stream but Tamia definitly has although she does get the credit that is long over due. Even with MS(who she closely and generously works with) she has released another great album for her fans called "Between Friends" which is great.
